The foam insulation boards are institutional things like tall buildings and the apples and apple bites are speared to itMore notes: They apples cry when you spear then, but it’s particularly difficult to spear through the coreThe spears work best with the flat end rather than the spiked endMore like a battering ram
Notes: for the most romantic of situations it’s important that the banana is snapped back from its stem at its top and that it’s laid yellow side down so as to chaise lounge the apple it may rest onAnd each skin should be detached from its counterparts so theat it lie singularly on its back To lay the banana yellow side up and attached would make the situation altogether more comedic and this is not comedy
Notes: after a day or so the banana skin goes black and at day 2/3 begins to dry and curl. they have there own beauty in death. assistants are required to replace the skins to regain there freshness. this requires constant sculptural maintenance - its hard to maintain such a position of internal exposure without rotting. the apples withstand much more and rot more slowly at there piecing and mould in concentric circles at the inversions, mainly at there stem where dirt can gather.
